The other day, a customer came into our store. He had just moved to Florida and was excited to be the proud owner of his first swimming pool. But, as a new Florida resident with many friends and relatives living up north, he was expecting a number of visitors over the winter.
“I need to install a heater. I know all of my northern friends are going to expect a tropical vacation when they come to visit us in Florida. When it’s 70° degrees in the water, they are freezing—even though at home, they’re wearing layers of clothing, boots and earmuffs just to walk the dog!”
