Automation & Chlorinators
Salt Chlorinators
There are many salt chlorinators to choose from. Manufacturers have stand-alone salt systems and automation systems that incorporate salt. Chlorine generators use salt to produce chlorine at a lower constant rate while the pool pump is running. It is the safest and gentlest way of sanitizing your pool
Should You Consider A Chlorinator?
Even with weekly pool service, a salt chlorinator is an excellent choice. Although your pool service technician balances your chemicals so your pool is operating at its optimal level, there are
some benefits to consider when converting to a salt system.
Benefit to consider:
Salt water pools operate at a very low, controlled chlorine level. Usually additional chlorine (liquid or tablets) is not needed. The salt/chlorine generator converts the salt to a low consistent level of chlorine.
Why is this a benefit?
First, the salt in water creates a “soft” water feel. Producing a constant level of chlorine, so less chance of pool turning green and better on equipment (not spiking chlorine). The low level of chlorine means that there is no eye burn or skin irritation for the bather and no bleaching effect on swimsuits or hair.
Pool automation
Automation packages range from basic to complex systems, which can integrate with smart home systems. This allows you to simplify life by using your computer, smart phone or tablet to control your pool with a touch of the screen.
