Pool Filters

Horizon’s high efficiency filters keep pool water clean, clear and inviting. They remove impurities such as dirt, leaves, grass, hair, body oils, sunscreen, and bacteria from the water. The three main types of filters are sand, cartridge, and diatomaceous earth. Sand filters are the least effective and use gravity to filter out items through the sand. The most popular option is the cartridge filter and they are the second best option for filtering. Diatomaceous earth will filter down to the smallest particles (human hair), but requires specialized maintenance.
