WELLINGTON, FL — May 4, 2026 — Horizon Pool & Patio is proud to announce Danielle Tuchinsky, a beloved kindergarten teacher at Wellington Elementary School, as the winner of the company’s 2026 Teacher of the Year contest. The Horizon team visited Wellington Elementary today to surprise Mrs. Tuchinsky with a celebratory delivery of flowers, a handmade basket of classroom supplies, gift cards, and special treats for her students.
Mrs. Tuchinsky has been shaping young minds in Palm Beach County for 16 years, including 13 years in kindergarten. This is her fourth year at Wellington Elementary, a school that holds special meaning for her. A true product of the community she now serves, she grew up in Wellington and attended Wellington Elementary, Wellington Landings Middle School, and Wellington High School.
She and her husband, Cliff, are raising their two sons — Jeremy (9) and Austin (7) — in the same hometown that helped shape her own educational journey.
